The first open house was held on October 29, 2025. The secondary plan project team presented the vision and principles that will guide the development of land use concepts for the Bolton West area. They shared key directions from technical studies related to agriculture, archaeology, commercial impact, community services, land use compatibility and mitigation, functional servicing, housing, transportation and mobility.
The Town has retained to help conduct a local subwatershed study and prepare the related secondary plan for the “Bolton West” area identified on the map below. Both projects are expected to be completed in early 2027. A progress update was provided in October 2025.
