Thank you for your input as we finalized the Town of Caledon’s 2023 – 2035 Strategic Plan, a collaborative strategy that will shape Caledon’s future over the next 12 years.

On July 26, Council adopted the 2023 – 2035 Strategic Plan(External link) which is now publicly available. -------------------------------

Caledon’s strategic plan will build on current success and guide Town priorities and actions to create a future-ready Caledon.

It will act on specific, measurable outcomes and help prioritize work in future business plans and budgets.

We want you to be part of the planning process. The Town has been gathering public input that informs the strategic plan since 2022, including the 2023 Budget Survey, Official Plan engagement and discussions with community stakeholders.

Share Your Vision

Share your vision by March 31, 2023

We are looking for input from local youth (ages 4-18) about the future of Caledon. The Town of Caledon is creating a 12-year strategy that will guide Town priorities and we want to know what is important to you.

Write, draw, paint, take a photo, perform, or otherwise create and share your hopes for Caledon 12 years from now! Creativity is encouraged. Optional template available here.

Submit your project here. Start by giving your project a title, add a short description and upload your picture/visual.

Your submission may be featured on the Town’s website, corporate social media channels and/or incorporated into future communications about our strategic plan.

Guiding questions:

What do you hope changes about the community?
What do you hope you see more/less of than today?
In 12 years, Caledon will be ____________________.

Let’s protect each other’s privacy

Please do not post photos where the person or people being photographed could be easily identified. A photo of people’s backs or of crowds is fine but a picture of one or a few people directly facing the camera is not. Regretfully, we need to remove photos that do not meet our Town privacy policy.

Q: What if I don’t have a way to upload my art or photo?

A: We want everyone to be able to share their vision. Bring your materials to your nearest Caledon community centre or library and a staff member will help you.

Q: What if I don’t want to share my art publicly?

A: We can still consider your input in our strategic plan. Instead of posting to the public website, send it to devan.lobo@caledon.ca
