Construction is underway!

Starting July 9, 2024, the Southfields Skatepark construction is underway. The skatepark is being built at the Southfields Community Centre, located at 225 Dougall Avenue.

The anticipated completion date (weather permitting) is Friday, September 6, 2024.

Starting July 9, 2024, the Southfields Skatepark construction is underway. The skatepark is being built at the Southfields Community Centre, located at 225 Dougall Avenue.

    Preliminary Design Survey

    The Town of Caledon is currently designing a new skatepark to be located adjacent to the Southfields Community Centre. 

    Earlier this year, an online survey was held on the Caledon HaveYour-Say website to collect information on what the community would like to see in the overall design.

    Based on the feedback received from the survey, a preliminary design of the skatepark has been developed and is ready for review and comment.

    The Town will take all feedback received from the Open House and the HaveYourSay website to make any necessary final changes to the overall design. 

    Construction of this new skatepark is scheduled for Summer 2024!

    Southfields Skate Park Survey

    The Town of Caledon is planning a new skate park in the Southfield neighbourhood, adjacent to the Southfields Community Centre at 225 Dougall Avenue.

    As part of this process, the project team is reaching out to the community to determine priorities and ensure the skate park meets all user's needs. Your feedback is important to us and will be used to inform the final skate park design. All survey responses will be kept anonymous.

    The Southfields Skate Park Survey will be open until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
