The Town is updating its Resilient Caledon Community Climate Change Action Plan in 2026 and we want to hear from you.

What is the Resilient Caledon Action Plan?

It is the Town’s roadmap for climate action. It brings together practical steps to:

  • reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the community
  • prepare for climate impacts like extreme weather and heat
  • protect our natural environment and local economy
  • support residents and businesses in taking action

The current plan includes over 60 actions across key areas like sustainable communities, low-carbon transportation, resilient infrastructure, and protecting natural systems.

It also sets clear targets:

  • reduce emissions by 36% by 2030
  • reach net-zero emissions by 2050
