Generations Park Project Updates
The Town of Caledon is excited to announce a new neighbourhood park to be located at 480 Kingsview Drive Bolton, adjacent to North Hill Park and Caledon Senior Centre. The Town has collaborated with the Bolton Rotary Club to develop the new space to serve the needs of local residents in the established community of Bolton. The primary goal of the Generations Park project is to transform the existing underutilized vacant open space into a welcoming space for multi-generational togetherness. Here, residents of all ages and abilities will have opportunities for exploration, relaxation, and gathering in a safe, accessible, and environmentally resilient setting.
Past Progress:
The preferred concept plan for Generations Park was developed in collaboration with the Bolton Rotary Club. Prior to initiating detailed design development, the Town held a community engagement open house in June 2025 to seek feedback on the initial preferred concept design. Following the open house, responses were consolidated and the preferred concept design was advanced to detailed design. The detailed design has been completed by an external Landscape Architect through a Design-Build partnership.
Proposed Design:
Once complete the new park will offer the following features:
- Sculpted landforms
- Concrete plaza with memorial shade structure
- Pathways
- Lighting
- Embankment slide
- Natural play features
- Community pollinator garden beds
- Seating areas
- Site furnishing
- Planting and naturalized seeding areas
The finalized design for the new park project is available below:

Current Progress:
Construction of the park has started with a targeted completion of Fall 2026, dependent on weather and underlying site conditions.
