Imarisha Onwuatuegwu asked almost 2 years agoAt this time, there are no plans to offer free use of the bandshell. Council would need to approve any free usage requests from the community.

Parkingspots asked about 2 years agoTown staff are working with the Bolton Rotary to evaluate all possible options. As a result of the public meeting, the proposed location has been updated to TBD and we are reevaluating several other locations in the area. Please check back for more details in the future.

Hi, What does location # 1 Bandshell and location #2 Bandshell mean?
Parkingspots asked about 2 years agoThe locations were identified as the two possible locations for the Bandshell to be constructed in the park, only one of the two locations will be chosen. Each location also had a separate noise study completed to identify the impact of sound emanating from the bandshell and its impact on the surrounding community.

Parkingspots asked about 2 years agoWe have a plan to add up to 100 additional spots just to the west of the Bocce Courts. There will also be an additional pathway constructed to ensure access to the bandshell remains accessible. Please see the image below.

Share Hi, I have read that approximately 500 people can attend the Bandshell at one time. Where will all these people be parking? The parking spaces are already very limited every night during the summer months with Bocce players and Splashpad users. The overflow of parking will force people to park along Pembroke Street which is not fair to residents. on Facebook Share Hi, I have read that approximately 500 people can attend the Bandshell at one time. Parkingspots asked about 2 years agoWe anticipate a large majority of users and guests of the Bandshell would be local residents who would walk to the venue. In addition to the current parking, we have a plan to increase the parking on R.J.A Potts park by up to 100 spaces.

When the Bandshell is completed, who will be responsible for managing user reservations - the Town or the Rotary Club
David asked about 2 years agoThe Town will be responsible for managing reservations. Similar to all Town Facilities, interested persons or parties would submit a request to our bookings team. From there, Town staff will ensure the person or parties reserving the space would be made aware of polices and procedures.

ConsideredCarefully asked over 2 years agoHello,
Thank you for your question. We have completed one noise study to date, however we are in the process of conducting an additional noise study. We expect to receive those results early this week and we will share the findings at the public meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, the presentation will be posted online after the meeting for your review.
Thank you again for your time.
