December 1, 2025 – Workshop and Public Information Session
The Town of Caledon hosted a workshop and drop-in public information session about the Town’s draft Aggregate Standards Manual on December 1, 2025. This event was not related to any aggregate development applications. The purpose of the session was to provide an opportunity for participants to offer input on the first draft of the Aggregate Standards Manual.
The first draft of the Manual was made available on the right side of the webpage under “Aggregate Standards Manual” prior to the event, and participants were encouraged to review the draft in advance to maximize the value of the workshop.

Workshop Details
The meeting included both a workshop and a drop-in component. The facilitated workshop was held from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., during which attendees participated in roundtable discussions with the consultant team and had opportunities to discuss various topics related to the Manual.
For those who did not wish to participate in the workshop, drop-in discussion opportunities were available before and after the workshop (6:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.).

We thank you to all who provided feedback through the Aggregate Standards Manual Survey, which is now closed.
October 8, 2025 – Public Information Session
Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 8, 2025. The handouts and display panels are available on the right-hand side of this webpage.
A summary of feedback and insights from all engagement activities will be included in the final Aggregate Standards Manual report.
Consultation-in-a-Box
Consultation-in-a-Box toolkits are available for pick-up at the Planning and Development Counter within Caledon Town Hall (6311 Old Church Rd, Caledon East, ON L7C 0H2). Each toolkit helps groups of 6–10 people discuss and provide written feedback related to the proposed Aggregate Standards Manual. Completed toolkits can be dropped off at Town Hall.
Next Steps
- The first draft of the Aggregate Standards Manual has been prepared.
- An open house was held on December 1, 2025, to review the draft.
- The Rehabilitation Master Plan and Excess Soil Study are also underway.
- Monthly status update memos are provided to the Planning and Development Committee.
Aggregate Standards Manual, Rehabilitation Master Plan and Excess Soil
The Town of Caledon hosted a public information session to discuss the Aggregate Standards Manual (“ASM”) on October 8, 2025. The purpose of the information session was to officially launch the project and gather feedback on the initiative and specific topic areas. The Rehabilitation Master Plan and Excess Soil projects were also discussed.
It was an in-person event where the entire project team, including the topic area experts for the ASM, Rehabilitation Master Plan, and Excess Soil projects, were in attendance to answer any questions.
