Parks & Recreation Strategy - Open Houses

Imagine, Plan, Play: Share your ideas for the future of parks and recreation at upcoming Open Houses!

We will be coming to a facility near you to engage and collect feedback on Caledon parks, recreation, facilities, events and support services.

What is this project about? The Parks and Recreation Plan will act as a road map for the Town in providing parks, recreation, facilities, events and support services for the next 10-years and beyond.

What can I expect at the open house? The Plan’s motto is Imagine, Plan, Play. The open house is the time to imagine: How do you currently play? What would you like to see in the future? How can the Town support play for all residents in every community? The open house is an informal meeting where Town staff and project consultants will be present to answer questions, and foster discussion. There will be informative graphic panels, and different ways to contribute your ideas (e.g., sticky notes, drawings, questionnaires, discussion etc.).

There will be six open houses, one in each ward:

Ward 1 – March 20 at Caledon Village Place – 5-8 p.m. (Directions(External link))

Ward 3 – March 25 at Caledon East Community Complex – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Directions(External link))
Ward 4 – March 24 at the Palgrave Community Room (Caledon Equestrian Park) – 5-8 p.m. (Directions(External link))
Ward 5 – March 27 at Albion Bolton Community Centre – 5-8 p.m. (Directions(External link))

A phone survey will also be used to gather feedback. If you receive a call, please participate and share your thoughts through the survey.
