The Town of Caledon is hosting an Open House regarding a new proposed Election Sign By-law and updates to the Town’s existing Sign By-law. The Open House will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Caledon East Community Centre (CECC) Community Room, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The current Sign By-law, adopted in 2017, is undergoing a comprehensive review to ensure it remains modern, clear and effective in regulating signage throughout the Town. As part of this process, the Town is also developing a dedicated Election Sign By-law to provide clearer rules and expectations related to election signage placement, timing and administration.

The proposed by-laws are available under the "Documents" tab for review. A comment box is also available below for the community to share their feedback in advance.

A staff report recommending the new Election Sign By-law and the updated Sign By-law is scheduled for consideration at a future Council or Committee meeting. Meeting details will be posted as part of the Town’s regular agenda publication process.
